Jewel of the Arctic by Bonnie Yap

I knew Bonnie Yap for many years already, as usual you can see her at the major or big events. At first I think she is quite fierce, usually during event she will be there choreographing the bosses on how to post and etc. As time goes by, I began to understand that this is her character, she is very focus whenever she at work. No doubt, she is seriously good at her job; one of the cream de la cream professional photographer in Malaysia. In person she is very friendly and likes to joke too. I am very proud to know that she is will be having her own photo exhibition Jewel Of the Arctic from 1^st till 31^st March 2014 at the ground floor lobby of Traders Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

These are some of her photos from her 18-day experience traveling through the northern hemisphere. Capturing icebergs, mountain glaciers and wildlife which reflect some of Mother Nature’s amazing work, this exhibition hopes to remind us, just how fragile the environment is.

Come and be awed by the mesmerizing landscapes and wildlife of the northern hemisphere captured through the lens of local photographer Bonnie Yap, in a charity photo exhibition. Held in conjunction with Earth Hour 2014, the exhibition is to raise awareness on global warming.

All photographs and merchandise sold during the exhibition period will be channeled towards children who are in need of financial aid for urgent medical procedures and treatment at Assunta Hospital.
