New Balance will debut their latest themed 574 pack, Stadium Jacket in 1^st Quarter of 2014. The new style is an updated take on the classic varsity jacket that exemplifies the 1990’s trend of team-inspired apparel and outerwear.

Inspired by the cultural progression of team sports licensed product as a fashion trend and incorporated into everyday streetwear, the New Balance 574 Stadium Jacket combines vintage team colors with the sensibility of the classic 574. With a traditional 574 material execution, the 574 integrates stadium jacket details in the mesh, ribbing, tongue label and lining.

The upper mesh replicates the jersey mesh seen on NBA jerseys from the 1990’s; striped ribbing detail on the tongue and counter are fashioned after the cuff and collar detail on traditional stadium jackets; the tongue label is modeled after the stadium jacket logos; and, a satin liner highlights the satin look and hand-feel of an authentic stadium jacket.
