Longchamp Pavilion KL New Store & My Le Pliage Cuir

Hello Friday! I am feeling blessed and awesome. Smile when I take a glance at my new Longchamp Le Pliage Cuir Handbag, sweetie how can I not love you? I am talking to new handbag again. Today marked the very first day I take her (my new handbag) out and she is officially ready to meet the world. I was at Longchamp Pavilion Kuala Lumpur New Exclusive Store soft launch on Tuesday 22^nd Oct 2013 morning with some of the bloggers.  We were given a guided tour of this new store at the same time an exclusive preview of Longchamp Autumn 2013 Collection including the limited edition collections too.

As you can see all the happy faces busy choosing handbag and taking pictures… oppss did I tell you that each of us can choose one of the Autumn 2013 Collection including some of the limited edition handbag to take home with us. Aww! So spoilt by choice, if can I would love to have all of them.

Longchamp the world renowned French leather goods and clothing house unveils its 1500sq ft the largest Longchamp Exclusive Store in Malaysia. We were one of the pioneer group who received a guided tour and previewed the latest Autumn 2013 collection.

It is truly impressive with the 20^th century façade and elegant interior in neutral colours. Embossed leather, wood, painted and printed lacquer, frosted and engraved mirrors, shiny and matte patterns on walls and furniture create contrast and interest. 

The comfort and accessible product display that uses refined natural and reflective materials make it easier for us to try on and check in front of the huge mirror if it looks good on us or not. 



Overall the store creates a soft and subtle mood that brings out the best of the collections, bright and light but feminine at the same time.

Well, it’s time to talk about handbag, of course the signature of Longchamp Le Pliage bags occupies quite a portion of the store. 

They have almost all the colours and sizes to choose from. Plus this largest Longchamp store in Malaysia has the Women’s Pret a Porter (RTW) and Shoes collections at the same time carries Men’s Collections too.

Le Pliage Cuir

We have a spread of Le Pliage Cuir handbags in so many colours and sizes from bilberry, cumin, fuchsia, red, taupe, clay and black. Most preferred colors are bilberry and fuchsia.

Le Pliage Plumes Bilberry

Plus the limited edition Le Pliage Plumes in Bilberry and Blue color. I like the pattern and the soft comfort printed moleskin.

Le Pliage Patch Exotic

At first I was very attracted to this limited edition Le Pliage Patch Exotic in black. It’s very edgy and dynamic, as many of the bloggers choose this design too because it is very special. It’s available in two tone, in black and navy blue. Le Pliage Patch Exotic has a unique 3D feel and look because the leather collage patch work plays with contrasting materials, effects and textures to graphic effect.

Le Pliage Cuir Clay (medium)

Finally, I decided on the Le Pliage Cuir (full leather) medium size Handbag in Clay colour. Well, I do not have many light color handbags so well this might comes in handy and great for my mix and match. The Le Pliage Cuir is the classic and elegant design combined with the subtle and neutral color of clay compliments with any colour outfits especially maroon, navy blue or black. The best part is this bag can fold up even it is made of leather. Plus it comes with removable shoulder strap that can be worn as a shoulder bag or crossbody for a trendy look.

At the store you can decide which of the myriad of colours available you prefer on your bag, followed by your choice of hardware, length of handle, and more excitingly, whether to embroidery or emboss your initials on the bag, making it your very own one-of-a-kind Le Pliage bag, avoiding that fashion faux-pas of ever being seen carrying the same bag as anyone else.  Mind you, as I know each bag takes up to 8 weeks for processing because each order will be made in Longchamp’s original workshop to maintain Longchamp’s quality.
