GAB Oktoberfest Malaysia 2013

Hey October! Let’s party as we all know that this month is the Oktoberfest Malaysia Celebration by Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB). Throughout the whole October there will be lots of themed parties, activities, contests and promotions going on across the country. Beer drinkers can expect evenings of good food and great fun with GAB’s selection of beers such as Tiger, Guinness, Heineken, Strongbow, Kilkenny and the official Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier, brewed exclusively for the Oktoberfest season. Plus all GAB’s iconic brew will be served in a special edition 1 liter Ceramic Oktoberfest Mug.

Oh by the way, currently Oktoberfest is a truly global a celebration with almost 7 million visitors consuming over 7 million litres of beer and more than half a million chickens throughout the celebration (based on 2011 figures), which lasts between 16 – 18 days from the middle of September to the first Sunday of October.

Unlike the rest of the Paulaner range, Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier is not a wheat beer but instead a lager. Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier, like all Oktoberfest beers are approximately 13% proof (about 6% alcohol), meaning they are a little bit stronger than their “non-Oktoberfest” variants.
