Nokia Lumia 925 Review

Nokia Lumia 925 is a superb smartphone that take great pictures in low light conditions with fast response. Not only that it also allows flexibility for me to set the Live Tiles that I need and sync, safe & backup my photos, data and setting. With Nokia Lumia 925 on my palm I can be myself and express more with worriless. 

Remember I took bunch of photos few weeks ago during Linkin Park Concert in Malaysia, you can check out my post here at Low Light Concert Shots Never Look So Awesome. Well, all these photos are taken using Nokia Lumia 925. 

So from now on, I just need to carry Lumia 925 when going to concert. It gives spectacular sharpness in low light photos and video. The Nokia Smart Camera burst photography mode could create action sequences and more effects. 

Not only the concert shots, there are other low light photos such as street light, restaurants and others. This makes the night scene picture stands outs without flash.

 This is my Live Tiles that I have pinned what I love for myself. These are the features and Apps that I use regularly. I can access them just a touch on my Start screen. Well, everyone has a different style, preference and need. So with this you have the freedom to choose your Live Tiles and be unique.

With SkyDrive & Office 365 I can access to my photos, videos, and Office docs. Plus we do not need you don’t need to worry about losing our stuff even if we accidently lost our phone because it’s all automatically backed up. 

There is a Kid’s Corner in Windows 8. Over here we can choose the apps, games & etc that we set and can start the Kid’s Corner on Start screen. All the info are protected by a password we set. Kid’d Corner does not apply only for children, sometimes when my friends use my phone to check some stuff online or play games at the same time I would like to protect my privacy. In this situation I can switch to Kid’s Corner when I pass the phone to them, they can only access to certain apps that I allowed.  

With HERE Map & HERE Drive+ Beta I can to find nearby restaurants, petrol station, shops and etc. Plus the City Lens app has been built directly into maps too. Just need to lift the phone up a bit as though we are using the camera and we'll see all businesses scattered around you in an augmented reality view. I can pre plan my destination and download the maps to my phone and do not need to worry if there is no connection. I still can access to my map offline. 

Is Instagram available on Nokia Lumia 925? A great camera needs to also have its channel for sharing photos. Well, we can use 6tag App, this is an instagram client for Windows Phone 8.  Upload picture and videos, apply filters, tag friends, view posts on a map, etc... You can download 6tag App HERE

This is my first experience using the Windows 8 smartphone. I am still a newbie getting use to sync my photos and data to SkyDrive and Office 365. Now everything can be linked and backed up so even my phone is lost I can still retrieve my documents and photos. Overall, I love the Lumia 925 camera it take awesome pictures especially under low light and night time.

Plus thanks to the super sensitive touch screen, the moment I tap on it, it’s up or launched. For example like taking quick pictures I just need to focus and tap on the screen automatically the pictures is taken. It is so fast. The camera is super cool in low light conditions and crisp during day light. The HERE Map comes in handy whereby I can plan my destination, download the map & even without connection I still can access to the map. However, I hope to see more Windows app that will enhance the user experience.
