This amuse me; “In sum, I want to bring Fashion to Faces” by Mary Quant. Last week I attended Mary Quant Cosmetics @ MUSE by Watsons makeup workshop in Sunway Pyramid. This is a new cosmetics brand in town that believes cosmetics are part of fashion with unrestricted combinations to enhance female beauty, allow women to express their true selves and enjoy life. There are so many colours to choose from and no rule to follow just “Be free, be yourself” means to value your own way of life. 

The Black Daisy is the brand signature / symbol of Mary Quant. I find it cute and prominent.

Mary Quant cosmetics is new to me and I am glad that have a chance to experience some of their products. I like their Blush Baby blusher it gives a natural glow. Ms. Nobuko Takaki, Makeup artist from Japan guided us through step by step makeup demo.

Mary Quant’s colour cosmetics products have slightly unusual names such as Obedient Finish, Action Lashings, Eye Opener, Talkative Eyes and etc. The whole range packaging of course adorned with the daisy motif and in black and white, it’s simple and stylish.

This skincare series is from natural essence such as chamomile, daisy, rosemary, wild thyme and honey for moisturizing and soothing. Mary Quant Special Recipe consist of Cleansing Milk, Washing Milk, Toning Lotion, Moisture Milk and Moisture Cream. 

Mary Quant Oil Zap, Moisture Zap & Eye Gloss

Mary Quant Makeup Base: Oil Zap, 20g RM119 and Moisture Zap, 30g RM129

There are two type of makeup base available. The Oil Zap makeup base is suitable for oily and combination skin user because it provides a dry, matte finishing. While the Moisture Zap has high moisturizing effect and helps the makeup last longer. Its moisturizing but not oily.

Mary Quant Foundation: Obedient Finish, 30g RM139 & Eye Gloss, 8.5g RM79

Obedient Finish Foundation SPF20 PA++ available in 6 shades 0-10 Milky Bisque, Y-30 Beige, B-30 Pale Putty, 0-40 Natural, Y-50 Country Clay dan 0-6 Tan. The color that suitable for my skin tone is 0-Natural.  This is an oil free foundation that comes with sun protection, best for those with acne and oily skin problem. Eye Gloss is a treatment eye foundation to moisturize the delicate eye area at same time covers dark circles and dullness. Plus it also act as eye primer helps to bring out the eye makeup colours. Available in 1 shade only 01 Light Beige.

The loose powder is available in 4 shades 01–Sheer Satin, 02–Light Lucient, 03–Natural, 04–Sheer Gold. It gives a smooth and lasting finish.

Wootz! there are blusher 14 shades to choose. Really spoilt by choice, I like Mary Quant’s Blush Baby 05. It gives a natural blush and glow on my cheek. You should go and check out at the store.

Liquid eyeliner is my MUST makeup product. Mary Quant liquid eyeliner comes in 3 colours 01-Ebony Black, 02-Barbwire Grey & 03-Cocoa Brown. This is a waterproof and smudge proof eyeliner. The brush is quite fine which is good to draw the sharp cat eye tail but for the eyes I need to draw two to three times to get the thickness. The color is intense.

This is a 2 in 1 Colour Pencil. Imagine we have 19 shades that can be use as eyeliner as well as lipliner free to experiment the colours. It’s smooth to draw plus is waterproof and long lasting. You got to check this out at the counter. 

Other than all these items, there are Action Lashings which is the lengthening mascara that come in 7 shades, Brow Line eyebrow pencils, Out of Sight concealer, Smoo Cake powder foundation, Moisture Rich Lipstick available in 20 shades a well as Colourshine For Lips in 8 shades.

Overall, I find that Mary Quant has quite a complete makeup collection and there are lots of colour selection. This is great for makeup enthusiasts to Freedom and Individual ~ Mary Quant Cosmetics @ MUSE by Watsons.
