Review: DHC Double Cleansing Ritual - DHC Deep Cleansing Oil & DHC Mild Soap

Cleansing is the first and most important step in any skincare regime for healthy skin. Don’t you agree with me? If you do not cleanse your skin properly, no matter how great or expensive your serum, moisturizer or essence whatever you apply is not going to work or could have reverse effect. As for me, double cleansing is a must. Here is some sharing about my experience on DHC Double Cleansing Ritual using DHC Deep Cleansing Oil and DHC Mild Soap.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is the Superstar or Bestseller of DHC skincare range. This is a botanical water-soluble formula cleansing oil that contain pure Virgin Olive Oil, Rosemary, Liquorice and Vitamin E.

The texture is thick liquid (high viscocity for liquid) and in rich clear yellow color. The is no coloring or artificial fragrance and most important is paraben free. The only thing I can smell is the strong olive oil and a hint of rosemary that all. It come is a simple clear plastic bottle with pump that makes it easy and dispense a consistent amount each time. The price is also reasonable for 100gm RM49.90 and 200gm is RM99.90.   

Before you use any cleansing oil might have some concerns or experience this before is it suitable for my oily skin, sensitive skin, does is cause irritation to my eyes, does it leave oily feels or residues on my skin after cleansing. After I have use DHC Deep Cleansing Oil for almost a month I never encounter this problem before. I just pump twice on my dry hand, blend in on both palm and massage on my face for about 20 -30 seconds. Add a little bit of water to emulsifies and massage a little while and then rinse with water, either cold or lukewarm.

DHC Cleansing Oil cleanse away dirt, excess oil, makeup even waterproof mascara, unclog pores by removing the impurities and softens pores dead skin cells to make them easy to get rid of. Thanks to its natural ingredients, no artificial substance and paraben free so it does not clog pores and suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. After rinsing with lukewarm water I can see all the makeup and dirts are off my skin. Leaving my skin feeling soft and clear; there is no greasy residue at all. The Olive oil and Vitamin E also help to prevent skin from dryness.    

Remember to use with dry hand and dry face; if you use with wet hands may weakens cleansing power as it emulsifies. And massage on not longer than the suggested time, it may cause skin roughness.

You might wonder why should I need to double cleanse my skin? Why should I use this DHC Mild Soap after all the DHC Cleansing Oil? Double cleansing is to ensure all the left over impurities such as kerastin and dust from pores and excess sebum are totally wash off and also help to remove the dead skin cells.

DHC Mild Soap is no ordinary soap. This Glycerin soap contains Virgin Olive Oil and Honey that help to maintain skin moisture balance. It is fragrance, additive and paraben free, safe to use and suitable for all skin type. The price of DHC Mild soap is newly added to DHC Olive Range and priced at RM62.90.  

This mild soap cleanse and refresh my skin without giving any tight or itchy feeling. Wet face with water, lather the soap in palms, then massage face with foam to cleanse. Rinse with cold or lukewarm water thoroughly. I like the soft foam and after rinsing I can feel than my skin is brighter. This soap also can use as bath soap too. It very gentle on skin and cleanse thoroughly.

Ingredients: Sodium palmitate, sodium palm kernelate, water/aqua/eau, sucrose, glycerin, sodium isostearate, alcohol denat., sorbitol, sodium oleate, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, tetrasodium etidronate, honey/mel/miel.

Above is my before and after picture, my face cleaner and brighter after cleansing. Overall, DHC Deep Cleansing Oil and Mild Soap is my perfect cleansing combo. It cleanse away all the impurities without drying and irritate my skin thus leaving my skin healthy and bright. Previously I also have tried and did a quick review on DHC Collagen Beauty 7000. It is helps to improve my skin texture and conditions.
