It's Tokyo Street 2nd Anniversary this month, there will be lots of activities going on the Level 6 of Pavilion KL. First and foremost Japanese renowned rock band HaKU kick
started Tokyo Street Pavilion KL 2nd Anniversary.
Crooning to an estimated 500 audience on 7 July at 6pm at The
Venue, the event was HaKU's very first live performance in Malaysia.
Following the live performance, HaKU fans were treated to an exclusive up-close
and personal session with the band at Tokyo Street.
Speaking at the press conference, HaKU vocalist Yuki Tsujimura
said, “Following the overwhelming response when we met fans in Tokyo Street
Pavilion KL last year, we are very honoured and excited to be back in Kuala
Lumpur! We’d like to wish Pavilion KL’s Tokyo Street 2shunen Kinen
Omedetogozaimasu (Happy Birthday)!”
If you fold origami hearts and dedicating them to Tokyo
Street via a giant heart shaped jar placed at the precinct and stand a chance
to win luxurious watches from Orient. Plus spend a minimum of RM20 and
be automatically entitled to participate in the Fukubiki lucky draw to
snap fantastic prizes.

HaKU Live Performance in Malaysia: 7

kind, HaKU is an electronic rock band that relies purely on acoustics to bring

Which anime characters do you like the most? Drop by Tokyo Street
to see the 200 anime figurines that will be displayed at Tokyo Street Event
Hall. Shoppers will receive a FREE anime paper bag with purchase of RM80 and
above and stand a chance to participate in the Lucky Spin with every purchase
of RM100 and above. Cosplayers will also receive a complimentary goodie bag.
Largest Cosplay Gathering and Competition: 13 - 14

Cosplayers alert! Transform yourself into your favourite Cosplay
character and make your way to Tokyo Street to mingle and exchange ideas with
other Cosplayers. Meet-and-greet other Cosplayers and walk away with attractive
prizes worth RM4,000 by participating in Tokyo Street’s very first Cosplay
competition. In addition to that, the first 50 Cosplayers who arrive at Tokyo
Street each day will also have the opportunity to savour a complimentary meal
at Suki-ya.
Robotic Exhibition: 15 - 18

Searching for a new activity to indulge in to spend quality family
time? Visit the Robotic Exhibition to broaden your horizons by learning how
robots function. The exhibition will feature limited-edition Transformers and
Iron Man among others. It will also present Pavilion KL’s very own life-sized
Green Robot made from the 1,000 plastic bottles collected from shoppers during
Tokyo Street’s ‘Keep Green & Recycle’ campaign in June.
The Pink Runway, Sakura Collection: 21

The first-of-its kind fashion runway show that emulates the beauty
of Sakura will bloom its way into Tokyo Street. This fashion show will showcase
the latest Sakura Collection finalised from winning fashion students’
craftsmanship. The Pink Runway will feature Japanese fashion icon Mina
Watanabe, whose contemporary designs highlight the intricate motifs and
craftsmanship of Japanese fabric.
Tokyo Street 2nd Anniversary Bash: 29
July 2013 at 2pm, Tokyo StreetJoin the giant cake cutting at the closing event of Tokyo Street’s
2nd birthday bash. 200 Fukubukuro goodie bags, performances, exciting
activities, and more await. This party like no other will bring the month-long
celebration to a close.
