Running! The ntv7 Feel Good Run 2013 just before Ramadan started, it was on the 7^th of July 2013. Wow! 7 of 7 for ntv7! This year ntv7 celebrates its 15^th birthday and it’s the 3^rd annual charity fun run with over 5,700 runners who made their way to Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama as early as 5.30am. Hurray to 15^th Run-Niversary @ ntv7 Feel Good Run 2013.

There were many top celebrities and personalities including at the run, spotted Fara Fauzana, Low Ngai Yuen, Thanuja Ananthan, Aishah Sinclair, Sasha Bashir, Charles Mohan, Jasmine Abu Bakar, Adam Zain, Baki Zainal, Debbie Goh, Frederick Lee, Leslie Chai and Adrian Tan were also seen running alongside their fans and the public. 

Plus I managed to take some pictures with the much celebrated mascots such as  Doraemon and Nobita, ntv7’s Yuan Yuan, 8TV’s Pow Pow, Line’s Brown and Cony, Canimals, Supertots and Boboiboy and Bola Kampung.

The event was graced by YB Tuan Khairy Jamaluddin, Minster of Youth and Sports Malaysia, who flagged off runners for the run’s 15KM, 7KM and 2.3KM. Also present are Media Prima Berhad’s Ahmad Izham Omar (CEO, TV Networks), Datuk Kamal Khalid (COO, Group Shared Services), Shareen Ooi (Group Chief Marketing Officer, Media Prima Berhad), Seelan Paul (Chief Strategy Officer, TV Networks) and Airin Zainul (Group General Manager, ntv7 & 8TV), Sofwan Mahmood (Group General Manager, News Operation, TV & Radio Networks) and Dorothy Empam (Group General Manager, Client Servicing Group).

The finishing line was at Central Park, Bandar Utama, where the celebration happened. There were variety of booths and activities by Feel Good Run’s partners including Fly FM, Hot FM and one FM. Other booths with interesting activities include New Straits Times Press, Brooks, Celebrity Fitness, Kidzania, Love On Wheels, Original Bootcamp and many more.

The official celebration took off with the 24 Season Drums performance by Chong Hwa Independent High School on the main stage, followed by a thank you note by the Group General Manager of ntv7 & 8TV, Airin Zainul and cake cutting ceremony.

Plus the Feel Good Run 2013 successfully collected a total of RM208,200 from the run’s registration. The cheque presentation on that day at Central Park to Dato’ Hatijah Ayob, President of the Malaysian Rare Disorders Society, En. Arfan bin Sulaiman, Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat’s Director of Children’s Welfare Department, who received the mock cheque on behalf of Rumah Kanak-Kanak Tengku Budriah, Ms. Christine Chin, Chairman of SPCA Selangor as well as Ms. Abigail Peter, PR Executive from Hospis Malaysia.
