YUAN Carnival 2013 Launch

Yuan Carnival, a home that provides the important elements of happiness, joy, entertainment and education that brings together the entire family. This popular yearly affair organised by ntv7 has visited over 21 locations since 2010 with over 425,000 visitors who have benefited from the carnival.

In to its 4^th year, this year the station’s highly anticipated event will once again commence with a new form of entertainment line-up where visitors can enjoy interesting programme and activities throughout the carnival and have that “feel good reunion”.

The 2013 Yuan Carnival will start on the 22^nd and 23^rd June weekend where this year will be the carnival’s inaugural collaboration with 8TV, as its media partner. The community centered carnival is presented by Celcom, while Sports Toto takes the role as the co-sponsor, Ah Huat White Coffee as the partner sponsor, with one FM as the official radio station and AMLeisure and World Vision as the working partners.

Yuan Yuan & Pow Pow

The 2013 Yuan Carnival mascot, “Yuan Yuan” will be making an appearance to mingle with the crowd together with 8TV’s very own mascot, “Pow Pow”. There will be a photo-taking session with the two mascots, although the crowd is not restricted to take pictures with them at any given time. “Yuan Yuan” will arrive slightly earlier at the venues to meet with the local resident. Yuan Carnival this year will include more interesting activities. The crowd will have a chance to meet international artistes in close range and play interesting games with the local artistes and hosts from ntv7 and 8TV to stand a chance at winning exclusive prizes. one FM radio announcers will also take the stage to perform a comical act, while the local acts will take this opportunity to promote their latest work and mingle with the Aside from that, there will be plenty of stalls serving delicious local delicacies, demonstrations of cooking styles and skills, and mini games for the crowd to bring home some prizes.
