Review: L’Occitane Iris Angelica Sublime Essence and Sublime Beauty Cream

Sometimes less is more, there are days I wish I can use minimum makeup on daily basis. Maybe leave home with bare face wearing only skincare and sun protection. Recently, I have a chance to try out L’Occitane Iris Angelica Sublime Essence and Sublime Beauty Cream. These two products combinations is good for those who wish to have a nude and natural looking skin. Plus I love the sweet and fresh flower scent of these  products.  

Here is a little briefing about the two genius flowers, Iris Angelica products contains a patented combination of two slender flowers from France, each with an exceptional property: Angelica from the Drôme region which is an expert in hydration, and Iris Florentina from the Hérault region a precious ingredient known in pharmacology for its radiance-enhancing action.

How does Iris and Agelica gives the benefits to our skin? The organic extracts of White Iris (Iris Florentina from the Hérault region) and Blue Iris (Iris Pallida from Italy) promote the epidermis’s cell renewal process, to visible reduce redness and help prevent the appearance of blemishes. While the organic Angelica Water boosts the circulation of water in the skin’s cells by stimulating the production of aquaporins (the skin’s own water network). Organic Angelica Essential Oil, on the other hand, helps protect skin against free radicals and improves skin’s elasticity.

Review L’Occitane Iris Angelica Sublime Essence, RM195 for 30ml

The first time I use it, immediately I can feel that my skin is smoothen and soft. Plus the pores near my cheek became less visible. The most amazing this about this Sublime Essence is that the texture, it is very fine, matte and soft. After application, it just absorb very fast into the skin giving a velvety smooth finishing. It is not oily or sticky at love. I just love the comfortable feeling, moisture and my skin smoothness after using this essence. This is the skin perfecting serum that is suitable for all skin type.

Great innovations form L’Occitane! Even though the texture is so refine and smooth, Sublime Essence is silicone free formula. It won’t clog pores and cause breakouts. After several weeks of using this essence I can feel that my skin tone became more even and my skin texture is smoother.

Review L’Occitane Iris Angelica Sublime Beauty Cream (BB Cream) RM135 for 40ml

First of all I would like to let you know that this L’Occitane Iris Angelica Sublime Beauty Cream the coverage is moderate. If you looking for sheer, natural and nude skin then is the good BB Cream. I find it suitable for my dry skin, is it stated is suitable for all skin type.

This Sublime Beauty Cream comes in two shades #01 clair/light and #02 medium. For my skin tone, I choose #01 clair/light. The texture is very light and soft cream base. It glides easily and blends well into my skin giving me a sheer, natural and radiant looking skin. My T-Zone area also less oily and shiny especially after lunch.

Well, it is also enriched with UV protection SPF30 broad spectrum sunscreen. Don’t worry this BB Cream will not make your skin look graying. I came across some BB Cream which is too fair or too thick makes my skin look graying and dull. The light texture glides on like a second skin. 

Benefits: enhances complexion’s radiance, evens out skin tone, reduces appearance of blemishes, plumps and softens skin, provides SPF30 sun protection.

Usage: After application of the Sublime Essence, smooth a small amount of the Sublime Beauty Cream onto skin and pat gently until absorbed.

This is my look, I use Sublime Essence, Sublime Beauty Cream #01 Clair and touch up with a minimal makeup such as a light loose powder, a hint of blusher, eyebrow color, eyeliner and nude lip gloss. With the combination of the Sublime Essence and Sublime Beauty Cream, I feel that my skin looks radiant and texture is more refine.
