I get some tips that the more volume in our hair will make our face appear smaller than it is. Do you agree? Well, if you have round face I think hair volume does helps create the illusion but if you have sharp and long face then this may not apply to you. Hair volume can be achieved through the use of hair products. Thanks to Adrian for introducing this Aveda Volume Styling products to me at Aveda Experiencing Center, Pavilion KL. This is my first time using Aveda styling products. Aveda is the maker of plant-derived hair care, skincare, makeup and lifestyle products.

Before the styling begins, I had stress fix exfoliating hand massage using Aveda stress-fix Soaking Salt mineral rich aromatic salt for exfoliating and Aveda stress-fix body lotion to hydrate the skin. After the hair analysis and consultation, I am ready for styling.

Aveda Pure Abundance Hair Potion

First, Adrian started to prep my hair using Aveda Pure Abundance Style-Prep that infuses all-day weightless volume to my hair. Then Aveda Pure Abundance Hair Potion, just squeeze a small amount in hands and scrunch into damp or dry hair. If you would like to have more concentrated effect, then sprinkle the powder directly onto hair and work through with hands until fully dissolved.

After that hold the style and pump up hair volume with an extra-firm hold using Aveda Pure Adundance Hair Spray. A formula infused with certified organic acacia gum a natural bulking agent so hair looks fuller and feels thicker. After this volume styling I my unmanageable, flat and a little bit oily hair have more volume, feels smoother and looks livelier.

Aveda Pure Abundance Hair Potion

The root of volume: potion gives amazing instant lift to roots. Sprinkle directly at the roots on dry hair and work it in with fingers to create lift, volume and texture

Full blown: for full, voluminous, almost fluffy locks, sprinkle potion liberally throughout damp hair and blow-dry.

Light waves: give curls and waves a boost by applying potion to damp or dry hair and setting in rollers, pin curls or with a heated curling iron. Provides light, workable hold to keep waves and curls in place.

Morning-after style: use potion at roots and ends to create an instantly disheveled, second day hair with almost no effort.

Tousled and textured: on longer hair, apply potion on damp or dry hair. Braid and twist hair and let set. Remove braids and twists for an amazing textured effect.
