Childhood Memories: Childhood Favourite Junk Food

Most of these are my childhood favourite junk food. How about yours? So roughly you know which era I am from shhh…. When I was in Standard 1 (primary school) my mom only gave me like 50 cents a day as my pocket money to school. That time money is big, so with the 50 cents I can buy 1 nasi lemak / bihun (30 cents), 1 cup of soya / milo (10 cents) and if I save the balance I can buy some junk food at push carts out side the school while waiting for bas sekolah. Now days children where got like this… they are so pampered, parents waiting outside the school gate before the classes finish, I see most children now playing with Tablet, iPads, smartphone, computers and etc...

My favourite is Tora and Ding Dang is think it’s the most expensive among the rest of them. Actually when you opened up the box, inside got nothing much a pack of biscuit balls coated with chocolate and a mysterious toy. I don’t know why that time I was so crazy about them.  Maybe its the mysterious toy inside the box… we love surprises and see who collects the most toys.  

Other than that you also see Apollo chocolate wafer. Apollo has been a long long time in the market. Every time when I watched Ultraman on RTM during the commercial break sure got Apollo advertisement. The advertisement if I am not mistake its very kelakar (funny). Not forgetting the Apollo cake too.  

The rest are Haw Flakes, Sumi Jelly, kinos, snek ku, Mi Mi, Tam Tam, Regal Mall Lollipops, Black and White Bullble Gum and Murakawa Bubble Gum that has a very strong flavour and some sweets.

By the way, I received all these precious junk food in a big glass jar during Samsung  GALAXY Wonderland: ThePremiere of HOME, Yuna Zarai’s Latest Single and Music Video event. That day, when we all saw this on our table, we were like omg don’t know what to say hehehe… how did they get all these in such a big quantity. By far this is the most memorable door gift that I had, so sayang to eat them. Thanks Samsung.
