Valentine’s Day Makeup Tutorial

Are you ready for your Valentine’s Day? Well, creating the right look for that special day can be daunting. I think most guy, prefer to see their partner natural beauty or in natural makeup. Less is more, all you need is the glowing, healthy and fresh looking skin. With minimum makeup you look younger. For this look, Kres demonstrated how to create a flawless base followed by rosy pink-toned cheeks for a wash of healthy colour. 

These are the steps to simple yet elegant look:

FOCUS: A Fresh Face

1. Apply Bio-Oil onto the face to moisturize skin.

2. For a natural glowing effect, add a pinch of pearl pigment to your foundation and mix with Bio-Oil.

3. Apply directly with fingertips or with a foundation brush.

4. Place concealer under eyes to hide any dark circles and pigmentation.

Cream Sheen Cheeks

1. Add Bio-Oil to blusher powder to create your own cream blush.

2. Gently apply with fingertips to the apples of your cheeks and finish off with a blusher powder to ensure a lasting look.

Kres’s Tips: You can create your very own cream blush by mixing 2-3 different blusher powder shades

A Hint of Pink for Eyes

1. Creating your own eye shadow colour to match your cheeks can be achieved by combining Bio-Oil with 2 eye shadow colours.  Kres used pearl pigment and pink eye shadow to create a unique colour to match the cheeks.

2. Once the eye shadow has been applied, line eyes with black eye liner and curl lashes.

3. Mascara will help open your eyes and elongate eye lashes. 

Lip Gloss for kissable lips

1. Scrape some of your favourite lipstick and mix with Bio-Oil to create a lip gloss.  Be creative with the shade by mixing 2 different colours to get that perfect combination.

2. Don’t forget the vital step of keeping lips hydrated with Bio-Oil to avoid chapped lips.

3. Apply with a lip brush at the centre of your mouth to create fuller, plumped and kissable lips.
