Petronas Switch for XTRA Road Challenge Grand Finale Party

After the 3 month long following the PETRONAS Switch For XTRA Road Challenge finally we get to know who is the winner of the RM10,000… jeng jeng jeng congrats to Team FBI, Faizal FBI celebrity and fans walk away with prizes worth RM10,000.

This is my second year attending PETRONAS Switch for XTRA Road Challenge Party. Last year the winner was Paul Tan, you can check out the event pictures

PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) crowned Faizal FBI and his 2 supporting team mates as the winners of the Switch For XTRA Road Challenge 2013, contending against other celebrities including Awal Ashaari, Scha Alyahya and Hanis Zalikha on last Friday 18^th Jan 2013 evening at G Tower, Kuala Lumpur.

This challenge was organized through the PETRONASbrands Facebook Fanpage, whereby selected fans riding along side with the celebrities in their nationwide race to be the first to complete the assigned challenges. Every team has different tasks and challenge to complete.

The team provided their real-time update status via videos and journals which were posted through social media to keep their followers informed of their progress and how they manage to complete the challenges.

The PETRONAS Switch for XTRA Road challenge was a fun and great initiatives by PDB’s to reach out to the consumer both online and on-the-ground.

For example, Team FBI whose challenges included them having to drive down to Johor and convince the public to perform an exercise routine, received the most support online, and thus rendering him along with his team the winners.

Besides, the public was also encouraged to participate in the ‘Take the Challenge’ contest where they were required to follow progress of the challenge, answer a few questions and write a creative slogan. The four selected winners were awarded a RM100 PETRONAS Gift card each.

Mean while during the finale party, there were many games and prizes to be won. Such as twitter contest, most creative caption contest won iPad Mini and many more.

By the way, during the prize giving ceremony, PDB also announced the returned of its PETRONAS Coffee Break Campaign in conjunction with the Chinese New Year balik kampong exodus. The nationwide Campaign will kick-start with the first phase between 7 and 9 February while the second phase resumes between 15 and 17 February. During these periods, free coffee and other refreshments will be served to motorists who stop by at any of the 33 participating PETRONAS stations situated along the highway and major trunk roads across Malaysia.
