The correct amount of sun protection / sunblock that we should use is about half a tea spoon on our face and neck.

10 Sun Protection Tips

1. Pick broad spectrum protection shield against UVA (aging) and UVB (burn)

2. Choose skin friendly ingredients, no mineral oil, no artificial fragrance, etc

3. Packed on the antioxidant to combat aging caused by UV damaged

4. Efficient product absorption, quick absorption and moisturizer feels

5. Apply half a tea spoon and reapply every 2 hours, recommended by US FDA

6. Use sun protection even when you stay indoor

7. Try to avoid direction sun exposure 10am – 4pm

8. When using chemical sunscreen for the first time, mix with moisturizer for the first 2 weeks

9. For lighter texture preference, use it together with Skin Hydrating Booster or any toner

10. Reapplication on Makeup: spritrz toner on skin then press on sunscreen

I did my skin check during Dermalogica Daylight Defense System event. The consultant advise that Dermalogica Solar Defense Booster SPF50 is the most suitable for my skin and lifestyles. This has the highest SPF50 has UVA and UVB protection. I tried it on my hand, face and neck, the textures is semi fluid in opaque colour and it is easy to apply. It absorb very fast into my skin and do not has the oily and sticky feel. Plus I like the mild aromatherapy scent. Overall, this is my everyday sun protection.
