Swarovski Spring / Summer 2013 Tropical Paradise Accessories Collection

It was an exotic journey through the vivid colors and vivacious spirit of Latin America during the Swarovski Spring/Summer 2013 Accessories Collection unveiling at GALLERIA Concept Store, Fashion Avenue, Pavilion KL.

The Swarovski SS13 collection, themed 'Tropical Paradise', is inspired by the creative energy and vibrancy of the journey from Brazil to Mexico

The Spring/Summer 2013 collection is inspired by Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival, the Amazon rainforest, Mexican temples of the indigenous Aztecs and Incas, as well as the beaches of Acapulco and Miami. Creative Director Nathalie Colin explains, “I was strongly influenced by my travels in Brazil and Mexico, where I discovered intense creative energy and joie de vivre.”

A Swarovski 'passport' to begin on the journey through a 'Tropical Paradise'

Fuchsia, aquatic turquoise and various shades of green are apparent tones of the new collection, inspired by the waters, lush tropical forests and sensuality of the orchid commonly found in Latin America. Exotic insects, birds of paradise, palm trees, beetles, dragonflies, and pink flamingos conjure up the diversity and exuberance of South America.
