XALF Design: Xpress Your Individuality and Xpression by XALF Collection

The makers of XALF, a bespoke online footwear label, have released Xpression to its ranks in the shape of customisable heels for the well-heeled modern woman. To celebrate its launch, a sophisticated soiree heralded the label’s debut was held at the jazz-infused setting of Bentley Gallery, Pavilion KL.

 Xavier Mah and Alfred Hor

XALF is collaboration between two like-minded individuals who have a passion for bespoke footwear. Xavier Mah and Alfred Hor have channeled their energy into crafting exquisite footwear catered to the modern cosmopolitan woman.

Choose your sole, embellish your upper with what you fancy and of course obtain the stiletto height that you’re most comfortable with. It’s all customizable and it’s about you – a perfect fit, each time, every time.

Each Xpression creation is specially designed and accessorized according to the preference of anyone who logs on XALF Design website (xalfdesign.com) or call for an appointment. SENATUS, an online luxury magazine the winners of the Silver Award in 2012 and the Gold in 2010 at the Asian Digital Awards is XALF Design official online media partner.

The interesting aspect of home-grown label XALF Design comes courtesy of a virtual boutique that offers customization options catering to every whim and fancy. Classic looks are recreated with a modern touch, and they individually exude an appreciation for heritage and attention to detail.

A cool Latin fusion dance performance by So You Think You Can Dance 1st Season winner, Cecilia Yong, who was chauffeured in a Bentley. Plus talented violinist Joshua Kua – who performed previously with the Victoria Opera in Australia entertained the audience.

The crowd was awed as they strutted down the runway in elaborate hairdos courtesy of Backstage Academy. They were clearly having a ball as they placed their best-feet-forward with their own bespoked Xpression creation that clearly enhanced and showcased their sassy personalities and individuality, with some wearing carefully selected outfits from Australian label Katelyn Aslett.
