Juice Works Christmas Special Gathering at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

I was invited to Juice Works Christmas Special Gathering at one of their outlet in 

Level 6, Pavilion KL. The food and beverages were healthy and yummy.

Well, it was a casual gathering, we learned about the goodness of drinking fruit juice and also about Juice Works company profile. I also learned that the process of making a cup of fruits is not easy, it involve lots of work behind like cleaning and cutting the fresh fruits everyday.

We were served 4 type of juices such as:-

Water Berry - watermelom, strawberry and apple juice

Jingle Berry - Vitagen, passion fruits, peach and strawberry

Red Dragon - red dragon fruit and lychee

Mango Passion - Mango, banana, low fat mango yoghurt and tropical juice

Juice Works is a home grown brand in Malaysia, they are able to incorporate all the lovely flavors of the local fruits in their menu to encourage health and wellness. Juice Works offering over 40 varieties of healthy yet delicious juice and smoothies. 

The company is friendly to their customers and also to mother earth. Juice Works become more environmentally friendly with the launch of their Biodegradable Eco Friendly Paper cups and also reusable tumblers in 2011.

After the short presentation we had some question and answers games ad some un activities. We were divided into 3 groups to create and prepare a new drink according to our choice. We have to choose 3 types of fruits, 1 ice cream or sorbet or yoghurt and must add 1 bottle of Vitagen into our drink.

My group after a little discussion we decided to use mix berry, mango, lychee and vanilla ice cream to create our smoothies named Berry Go Round. It taste quite good, very thick and creamy (because of the vanilla ice cream) but maybe a little bit too much mix berries I think. Anyway was a good experience working behind the juice bar and creating our own juice.

Juice Works Wheatgrass shot

I also get to tried Juice Works Wheatgrass shot.  It is a little hard to drink but it contains lots of vitamins and goodness for our health. Please do not take Wheatgrass shot on empty stomach, you might feel dizzy. Wheatgrass derived from wheat berry seeds it contains 70% chlorophyll and is a rich source of Vit B, C, E and A with 30 different enzymes. 1 shot (20mL) is equivalent to eating 1kg of spinach. Some of its benefits includes – Cleanses and detoxifies, blood glucose (for diabetics), great for wound healing and for acne, natural appetite suppressant for weight loss.
