At Urbano e Fresco you can also buy Cassani San Giovanni Italian products such as pasta sauces, pesto, stuffed pepperoncini and anchovies, sundried tomatoes, porcini mushrooms, vegetables and capers, herbs, spice blends, jam, honey, crostini spread, olive, olive spread and olive oil, flavoured oils,  balsamic vinegars, pasta, biscuits and sweets, sea salts, Italian bread snacks, wine and many more.

According to Mr. Ali Asadi, Urbano e Fresco Branch Manager, the food is freshly prepared everyday using only the quality ingredients while hard-to-find ingredients are specially flown in from Italy ensuring the quality of food is not compromised. They try to keep the Italian traditional recipe. Urbano e Fresco will be opening a new outlet in Penang soon.

The a la carte menu is simple, with more than enough choices to suit every taste bud, and if you’re looking for value, then there are also set meals on offer daily during the lunch hour from 12noon until 3pm.

 Caprese Salad RM 36.00

Sliced fresh buffalo mozarella cheese, sliced tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil and basil. Taste the freshness and the softness of chill mozzarella cheese. Simply yumss...

 Bruschetta RM 9.90

Toasted baguette bread with extra virgin olive oil, fresh chopped tomatoes, onions 

and fresh basil leaves. I like the crispy and thinly toasted baguette with fresh 

tomatoes plus the kick of basil leave. 

Harvest Pizza

Urbano e Fresco signature tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, fresh garlic, rocket salad, peppers, fresh spinach, fresh basils, broccoli, fresh red onions with a drop of olive oil. Love this authentic Italian pizza, its crispy with the fresh. 

9” RM 20.90, 12” RM 25.90 and 15” RM 33.90.

Maui Pizza

Urbano e Fresco signature tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, turkey ham, sliced marinated chicken breast and pineapple. I prefer the Harvest Pizza over this Maui, because it has more vegetable and salad in there. 

9” RM 23.90, 2” RM 29.90 and 15” RM 38.90. 

Aglio Olio Mushroom with Arugula RM 16.90

Overall the pasta is texture is okay. As it is aglio olio, it may be a bit oily if you don’t eat it when it’s freshly prepared. You can taste a hint of spiciness in the oil... but it’s just nice to give a slight kick to the overall taste and it’s not too strong also. The mushrooms are not bland tasting and the best part is that it doesn’t have the taste of bitterness to it like other mushroom pastas.

Amatriciana RM 17.90

This pasta look delicious but I could not taste it because the bacon is actually beef. 
So I skipped this dish. According to my friend, they like the homemade sauce 
and the paste is tender and also the bacon. 

 San Pellegrino Aranciata and Limonata RM 11.90

San Pellegrino Aranciata and Limonata are the Italian soft drinks or flavors 

of carbonated beverages. Limonata (lemonade) and 

Aranciata (orange) both are refreshing. 

 Latte RM 10.90

After a lazy afternoon lunch, it’s a must followed by a cup of latte to keep me awake..
