Last week, Samsung Malaysia Electronics hosted the ‘Samsung-Chelsea FC Youth Football Camp’ for the 3rd time to reinforce the brand’s innate determination to advocate healthy living and an eco-friendly environment through sports and nutritious food.

The ‘Samsung-Chelsea FC Youth Football Camp’ collaboration with the coaches of English Premier League powerhouse and three times title winners, Chelsea FC created an avenue for Samsung to youths and adults to adopt a healthy lifestyle through food and eating habits through a cooking demonstration hosted by celebrity chef Anis Nabilah.

At the youth football camp, Samsung advocating the
importance of caring for the environment through the showcase of the Samsung
Eco Bubble washing machine, that save up to 70% in electricity consumption.
Samsung wishes for a clean and safe environment that complements the youths’
healthy lifestyle.

This time around, four Chelsea youth coaches – Steven Allan Winnet,
Jack Colin West, Steven Leonard Shipp and David Michael Stewart – were in town
to train a total of 180 participants from 9 to 13 years old. The participants
included youths from Rumah Sayangan, Little League Malaysia , and Kuala Lumpur Youth
Soccer. Despite their diversified background, they shared a common passion for
football.

Samsung started its youth soccer programmes in 2007 since then more than 1,650 children from all around the world have experienced Chelsea Football Club’s way of soccer playing. The ‘Samsung-Chelsea FC Youth Football Camp’ is part of Samsung’s support for developing football at grass-roots and also part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
