Donate Your Clothes for Electrolux Washing - Thon 1st Outdoor Washing Marathon for Charity

In support of the needy and less privileged, Electrolux Home Appliances will be organizing Malaysia’s first Electrolux outdoor washing marathon, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative that aims to give back to the community. Electrolux Washing-thon will be held from 1 November 2012 to 4 November 2012 at Citta Mall, Ara Damansara PJ.

Donate your old but usable clothes for Charity. If you would not be able to make it to our Washing-Thon event on 1 - 4 November you can also donate your old clothes at their respective drop-off points.

Elextrolux together with Citta Mall, Unilever, Harvey Norman and DB Schenker, hope to collect, wash, dry and fold at least 3,000 pieces of clothes that will be distributed through Grace Community Services to kids and adults in need. Check out Grace Community Services' website to find out more about the people you will be helping! http://bit.ly/QBZ6Tb 

Two weeks prior to the main event, there will be a collection drive for used clothes via the Electrolux Washing-thon trucks that will take place between 17 October and 30 October in the designated neighbourhood drop-off points in Klang Valley.

This is how the Elextrolux Washing-thon trucks look like. They will be collecting donated clothes from our pick-up points to be washed during Washing-thon.
