Sony Cybet-shot DSC RX100
What is The Power in Your Pocket means to me??? hmmm there are many important things that I wish I could put in my pocket. When ever i need them they are there for me. There is one thing that I miss out… I always have compact camera ready in my handbag wherever I go. Come to think of it camera is one of my essential items now. But photos taken using compact camera usually I have to compromise on the photos quality compared to dslr.
Now, I need a camera which is light, compact and can do a similar job as dslr… am I too demanding? Not really, I have found something new and exciting that can match my requirements. Thanks to Rouge Communications for inviting me to attend the Sony Cybet-shot “First to See” bloggers gathering. That was the first time I touched and played with RX100 and I…
The Power in Your Pocket is something easy to operate, light in weight,

I always on the go and travelling light doesn’t mean compromising on picture quality with the new Cyber-Shot DSC RX100 camera. It a great travel and on the go companion for portraits, clubbing, travel, street photography with impressive picture quality, easy and comfortable control option that delivers supreme light sensitivity, gorgeous background defocusing, high image accuracy and SLResque operation which empower me to express my vision with passion and precision in every shot.

There is a Power in my Pocket which allows me to do that… whenever I need it RX100 there for me. So ideal…
Just like a DSLR camera, there's a choice of auto and manual (MF Assist) modes that magnifies the image to simplify fine adjustments, not forgetting a convenient Peaking function that highlights sharply-focused areas of the image on screen.
Sony RX100 1.0 type Exmor CMOS image sensor with resolution of 20.2 megapixels captures more light and reproduces every detail in clarity and sharp.
Plus it comes with Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens with 3.6x optical zoom range great for concert shots from a far. The enormous F1.8 circular aperture for gorgeous background defocusing great for wedding shots when I want to focus on the expressions of the people especially the bride and bridegrooms.
Besides the Sony's blazing-fast BIONZ imaging engine employs powerful algorithms to transform data captured by the CMOS sensor into sophisticated images with accurate colour, rich tonal gradations and minimal noise.
With RX100 you can shoot almost anywhere thanks to the wide-ranging ISO sensitivity. It captures every detail in virtually any lighting with clarity, even in dim lighting thanks to the Multi Frame NR. This feature enables high-sensitivity shooting up to an equivalent of ISO 25600 by seamlessly superimposing six images and achieving noise reductions.
There are 13 effects of Pictures Effects that I can choose from and play with such as toy camera, pop colour, posterization, retro photo, soft high-key, partial colour, high contrast monochrome, soft focus, HDR painting, rich-tone monochrome, miniature, watercolor and illustration.
