MIGF 2012 Classical Chefs Serve Up A Symphony of Great Cuisines Launch

Food, Food, Food is on the way?

Last Saturday was the 12^th Malaysia International Gourmet Festival (MIGF) and inaugural Taste MIGF both was announced in a fun-filled yet classic media launch at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall.

An orchestra of chefs serenading the Minister of Tourism, YB Dato’ Sri Dr Ng Yen Yen with classical music and thronged by thousands of curious saturday afternoon shoppers. The reason for the chefs downing their usual culinary tools to play musical instruments was to reflect this year’s Festival theme: “Classical Chefs – a Symphony of Great Cuisines”  

So many Special going on during MIGF week… From 1^st to 31^st October 2012, local diners and international visitors are in for a real treat as 28 of Malaysia’s finest restaurants serve up Special Festival Menus at Special Festival prices accompanied by a host of Special Festival Offers. On Friday, 28^th September, you cannot afford to miss Taste MIGF, the spectacular launch event of MIGF taking place at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre from 11am to 11pm.

Gourmet Village, Cooking Classes and Wine Appreciation

Taste MIGF will also feature a “Gourmet Village”, where purveyors of the finest gourmet meats, wines and cigars bring you their wares. Malaysia’s famous Chef Wan heads up an exciting programme of cooking classes and workshops, on how to appreciate wines and cigars.
