The campaign was officially launched on 8 Sept 2012 at the Shah Alam CC Mall with special appearance by celebrities Prema Yin.
This campaign aims to re-launch the Himalaya Neem range and highlight the significance of its herbal properties used as a natural therapy for various skin diseases. Neem, or its scientific name, Azadirachta Indica, has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and blood purifying properties. It keeps skin healthy and gives it a glow, and is useful in the prevention and reduction of skin disease effects. The tree stem, root, and bark possess astringent, tonic, and anti-periodic properties. The bark is beneficial in malarial fever and useful in cutaneous diseases.

The Neem Mobile Truck will be travelling around Klang Valley from 1 September. Anyone who spots the truck and takes a photo can redeem prizes at selected stops. Among the activities planned during the Neem Mobile Truck stops include Xbox games, lucky draws, and games. Himalaya experts will also be available to produce free skin consultation. As part of the campaign, Himalaya will be participating in the fourth edition of Youth Jam on 16 Sept 2012. The event aims to educate and inspire the youth about health, sports, IT, entrepreneurship, and creative arts through exhibitions, seminars, and competitions.
The primary objective of this year’s Youth Jam is bridging the gap between the urban and rural youths by teaching the specialised skills, enhancing their self-esteem, and the vital need to make healthy lifestyle choices. More than 50,000 youths are expected to attend this year’s Youth Jam.
