Review: Max Factor Flipstick Colour Effect Lipstick in Melody Brown 40 and Salsa Red 25

Now its time to share with you my verdict about this Max Factor Flipstick in Melody Brown #40 and I tried the Salsa Red #25 during makeover session at the event.

Max Factor Flipstick in Melody Brown 40

This Max Factor Flipstick has double-ended design which means one colour on each side. One side is rich and creamy colour and one side is lighter, iridescent lipstick shade.

As for Max Factor Flipstick Melody Brown 40 (refer to the picture above) the left side is mild pink and the right is light brown. When I applied on my lips, the colors is very light as though it is light brown with a touch of natural lips very mild pinkish colour. I applied the pinkish shade on my lower and upper lips and then light brown shade on my upper lip.

It is very smooth and easy to glide on. I feel that this shade is slightly too light or frosty for me. During the launch event I tried the Salsa Red 25 on my upper and lower lips (refer to the picture above). I prefer Salsa Red 25 it looks better on my lips and goes well with my skin tone. Well, I look slightly pale on Flipstick Melody Brown 40 the light brown is quite frosty.

This Max Factor Flipstick has frosty and metallic tone finish, it is not glossy. My lips feels matte, not that moisturizing. As for me this Flipstick not for everyday wear because of the frosty tone however is suitable for certain occasion especially when I want to look cool or hip.   

Besides this, the duo colour combinations are designed so we can wear each colour alone, blended together or in tandem - with a cool two-toned effect; allowing us the freedom play with our creativity.
