A Cut Above Celebrates 33 Years & Beyond

Having evolved in leaps and bounds since humble beginnings, the hair show was aptly titled “33 Years & Beyond”. 

Showcasing breath-taking creations, the show itself was broken into three segments; from the Glamour of the 20’s to the 40’s, edgy runway trends of today with a twist, to an astounding Avant-garde collection.

As an in house model for the past 15 years, celebrated HK emcee Angel Wong Chui Ling was on hand to lend fun and glamour to the event.

After three solid decades of establishing themselves as one of Malaysia’s top hair salons, A Cut Above celebrated its 33 years of excellence with a showcase of their skills in a fashionable Vogue Chic party at the Mid Valley Fashion Week.

Miraculous Collection by Faevien Yee

A diverse collection of avant-garde hair design. Dark yet extraordinary collection. The “Miraculous” collection presented by senior creative director Faevien Yee was also showcased at the recent Mercedes-Benz STYLO Fashion Grand Prix 2012.

Many celebrities and socialites were spotted mingling and catching up in the crowd

The show would not have been possible if not for the support of Mid Valley Megamall for the spectacular venue, HSBC, Dorothy Perkins, Kronenbourg 1664, Schwarzkopf, Acca Kappa, designers Jonathan Liang from Nue and Silas Liew for the Winnie Loo segment, Vic Teo for his entertainment and talented child star Crystal Lee for her brilliant performance.
