Cartier Baiser Volé, A Perfume of Passion

Most of us especially ladies would know that Cartier is a luxury brand for jewelleries, watches and accessories. How about Cartier’s perfume?

Cartier launched its new feminine fragrance Baiser Volé at Suria KLCC last month. Guests were dress to their nines, women mostly in their white dresses or gown and men in suits. Society elites and celebrities gracing the occasion were Dato' Kok Yul, Datin Maylene Yong, Albert Nico, Nila Palacios, Bon Zainal, Chermaine Poo and others.

Baiser Volé is a perfume of passion and was created by Cartier in-house perfumer, Mathilde Laurent. Her olfactory creation, intuitive, new and modern, is a proof of her imagination. In true Cartier ingenuity, the fragrance translates the true passion and love of the Cartier jewelry, truly the pinnacle of timeless elegance.

Baiser Volé is an intentionally French name, as it is an important point of the brand, which is also one of the most famous french luxury houses. An audacious name which evokes a moment of pure passion, like a stolen kiss. This is not an invitation, it’s a theft, without preludes.

Cartier perfumes give power to feelings and seal unforgettable moments, for those in search of emotional intensity. Last but not least, Cartier perfumes are perfect examples of the 3 brand values: Excellence, Emotion and Audacity.

This Cartier Baiser Volé fragrance caught me by surprise. Before I attend the launch and try out the fragrance I thought it going to be something strong, empowered and for more mature women. That day when as I walked towards the entrance I could smell fresh lily and its soothing.

After a month of using Cartier Baiser Volé I began to love it. It burst with fresh lily powdery scent. It makes me feel feminine and lovely, like I have lots of lilies surrounding me. The scent is not to strong, hit the right note for me. Besides it is quite lasting, the scent still lingers on my clothes after a long day.

I love the oval shape bottle which is very elegant and feminine, which is a true feminine code for Cartier. Indeed, the top of the bottle is inspired by the shape of the Baignoire watch, launched in 1912 or the Love bracelet, launched in 1970 which is so popular with women. The name, engraved in the material is also a strong code of the Maison Cartier.

Cartier Baiser Volé is available at most of the leading departmental stores such as, Isetan KLCC and Gardens, Selected Parkson, Robinsons and Sogo KL. Selling price; EDP 30ml RM 220, EDP 50ml RM 310 and EDP 100ml RM 435.
