What is Kegel Exercise?
Kegel exercise is an essential part of our daily routine. It is also known as Pelvic Floor Exercise as it involves contracting and relaxing muscles that form part of the pelvic floor. This exercise founded by Dr. Arnold Kegel in 1948 has proven to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and improve urethral and rectal sphincter function. By doing so, it directly treats incontinence, tones your pelvic floor muscle as well as increases your sensitivity during intimacy.
