For the fourth consecutive year, Pavilion KL continued its partnership with MasterCard Worldwide which presented the most anticipated red carpet event of Pavilion Pit Stop 2012.
On 27th of Mac night almost 400 chic guests were also indulged with a fashion show by Shanghai Tang showcasing their latest collection called ‘The Rite of the Phoenix’. The glamorous affair was the perfect event to debut the new Vertu Constellation Quest Ferrari phone, whose design was inspired by the Ferrari 458 Italia. Followed by Karen Millen also showcased their Spring/Summer 2012 collection, an eclectic mood with abstract prints, intense tropical patterns and bold colors.

Themed ‘A Glamorous Night of Fashion’, the event reflected the pulsating hype and buzz of the Malaysian F1 Grand Prix. Celebrities, corporate heavyweights, media and the city’s most fashionable people rubbed shoulders at this exclusive event which saw a high-energy fashion show by international brands and a special musical tribute to Whitney Houston by Malaysia’s top diva Ning Baizura. Also attending ‘A Glamorous Night of Fashion’ were 10 lucky MasterCard cardholders who spent RM1,000 and above at Pavilion KL.

Ning Baizura entertaining the crowd with her tribute to Whitney Houston songs
Malaysian super star Ning Baizura performed a powerful rendition of the late Whitney Houston hits ‘I Will Love You Always’ and ‘I Want to Dance with Somebody’ much to the crowd’s delight. Many guests were seen singing along and enchanted by the performance.

The Best Dressed Winner for Shanghai Tang
The dress code for the event was ‘A Touch of Karen Millen or Shanghai Tang’ and each best dressed winner received a Karen Millen iPad case or Shanghai Tang clutch respectively.
Reza Ghazali, winner of the Caterham F1 gift of a lifetime, with his wife Marina Abdul Kadar. The lucky draw prize was an F1 car par signed by Heikki Kolvaleinen and Vitaly Petrov.
F1 fanatics who attended the event were beyond excited at the prospect of winning a piece of the Caterham F1 car personally autographed by drivers Heikki Kolvaleinen, Vitaly Petrov and former Caterham F1 driver Jarno Trulli. The eventual winner of this priceless Caterham F1memorabilia Mr. Reza Ghazali said, “Winning the prize is absolutely unexpected. It’s the best F1 build-up ever and together Caterham F1 and Pavilion KL are winners!”
