Malaysia Beauty Blog Product Review: The Body Shop Moisture White Shiso BB Cream

Well, have you used or tried BB Cream before? Or perhaps you are BB Cream user and have tried many types of BB Creams before.

What is Shiso? Shiso is a type of herb that’s in the mint family, and is typically used in Asian cuisine. The shiso is used because it has high vitamin C content, and that’s a super key ingredient for whitening. This skincare range is formulated with shiso.

I have been using Moisture White™ Shiso BB Cream from The Body Shop for almost two weeks. This multi-action make-up base conceals, soothes and evens out my skin tone. 

Every morning before go to work, after my skincare regime I apply Moisture White™ Shiso BB Cream followed by light loose powder, lipstick and eyeliner, then I am ready to go. No need foundation. A quick make up is essential so that I can sleep in more.

After daily skincare regime like cleanse, tone, treat and moisturize. Squeeze the Moisture White™ Shiso BB Cream amount of about twenty cent on palm. Then apply on face and blend it well. 

So how do it feel?

The coverage is good. At first look at the BB cream color I thought is slightly dark for my skin but after apply it the color just blend well with my skin color. Some of my scars became less visible. I don’t even apply any foundation. My skin tone more even. Immediate after application, face look more radiant and fairer. 

The color looks natural with healthy glow on my skin. It doesn't have any ash grey undertones, neither is it too yellow. Some BB cream after I apply the skin looks gray maybe the color too fair for my skin type. Not only that I find it lasting or long wearing too. 

My skin type is dry and dehydrated so this Moisture White™ Shiso BB Cream is suitable for me. Its moisture enough and comes with SPF 25 PA+++ protection. I don’t get breakout after using it, my skin no oily and my makeup don’t smear easily. It makes my skin look more radiant. After application for two weeks, I find that my skin tone looks even and fairer.

Overall is good and easy application for everyday use.
