Ok let's talk about something that is happening to us but we might not realize that is affecting our overall well-being, emotionally, physically and mentally as well. Are you suffering from Urban fatigue? Do you know that this is a new kind of fatigue for the new generation. It is an illness and can become serious when we ignore it. Well, we
take on increasing number of personal and professional projects; following the
latest trends and maintaining a constant presence on social networks; going out
until the early hours of the morning; but looking to recharge your batteries
through yoga and detox diets; wanting everything, all the time, without making
any compromises… is that possible? Are you tired? Can you cope?
Urban Fatigue the new Generation Illness
|
An intense lifestyle inevitably goes hand in hand with fatigue.
Not only conventional fatigue, linked to a lack of sleep, but a general,
so-called urban fatigue, an emerging phenomenon linked to the constant demands
of the modern environment. Constantly
multitasking and staying up late at night to watch series, read or spend time
on our computer.
However, this energy, this positivity and this thirst for action
hides a general feeling of being overwhelmed. While we suspect that urban
fatigue is above all physical, the fact remains that it also has mental effects
on us.
When you don’t want to say no to anything and want to continue to
live life to the full, how can you keep your skin fresh and healthy? The body
talks and there comes a time when fatigue begins to show.
On the face, fatigue can be seen; primarily around the eyes, where
dark circles, bags and puffiness appear. But also in the complexion, which
lacks radiance and luminosity. The features are drawn and pulled, making the
face look more severe. Skin is dehydrated, its texture loses its fineness, and
imperfections and fine lines appear.
Throughout your twenties, these visible signs of fatigue are soon
erased by resting and the skin recovers very quickly. After the age of 50, they
amplify the signs of ageing. But what happens around the age of 30?
This is the time when signs of fatigue, such as dehydration, a
dull complexion, wrinkles and sagging. In other words, the signs of fatigue
that take root day after day in the skin could already be the first signs of
ageing. At the age of 30, this is nothing serious however, it’s the time to
act.
You can do something to improve the quality of your life. Either you
change your lifestyle, do less and rest more or use something that can ease
your burden or improve your fatigue body, mind and skin. Sometimes we have to
say no and prioritize.
I agree.. I would say I am suffering from urban fatigue...sometimes I just find everything sooooo tiring... even after a nap... LOL... or maybe sometimes that nap makes it even worse...
