some good news for you, the very first
MT masking tape exhibition and pop-up store is now in Malaysia at Pavilion
Kuala Lumpur till 7th August 2016. It’s held in conjunction with Waku Waku Japan Festival and Tokyo
Street’s 5th Anniversary. MT masking tape is a leading Japanese brand for
colourful, decorative tapes, made of washi paper.

These tapes are available in amazing colours, patterns and sizes,
and are re-useable, food-safe, acid-free and multi-purpose. The exhibition will
be featuring six Malaysia-themed limited edition masking tapes created
exclusively for Pavilion KL shoppers. Crafters and DIY enthusiasts around the
world have grown very fond of the brand, where they use the tapes to
personalise plain journals, photo frames, gift wrapping, to decorate walls and
even party ware for birthday celebrations.

In collaboration with the designers of MT masking tape, a limited
collection of ‘Waku Waku Japan Festival’ themed masking tape will be available
for sale from now to 7 August 2016, while stocks last.

Pavilion KL has also taped up the entire Centre Court and the
Spanish Steps leading to level 3, with the ‘Waku Waku Japan Festival’ themed
masking tape, adding a vibrant and colourful ambience to the mall.

You can get hands-on with the sample masking tapes available on
the work benches. For DIY enthusiasts, there will be workshops available on
30th and 31st July 2016, at 10am and 2pm, where you can learn how to use tapes
to create labels, page markers, bookmarks, as well as how to pack gifts using
techniques like layering and colour coordination.
