Fragrance Review: Dolce Floral Drops

Spring into a garden with magical touch of dew and neroli leaves… The delicate and heart warming flower cap caught my attention when I unbox. The scent makes me feel so fresh, beautiful and feminine; like surrounded by beautiful White Flowers energized and by crisp green leaves of Neroli ~ the Dolce Floral Drops, a new fragrance by Dolce&Gabbana.

Dolce Floral Drops edt has the rare beauty of a fresh floral scent that lingers on my body. Surprisingly even though it is edt but quite lasting and not over powering. The Eau de Toilette is inspired by the notes of Dolce Eau de Parfum, preserving its harmonious signature of white flowers, with a heart of White Amaryllis. Dolce Floral Drops combines these ingredients with the lively and crisp green opening of Neroli leaves, that enriches its character and define its freshness right from the opening of the fragrance.

My first impression of the Dolce Floral Drops bottle recalls the unique shape of Dolce; the signature heart melting flower cap is an attraction to many ladies and thick glass, curved lines and a solid bottom, with a cap in the shape of a sculpted flower with milky white petals. Frosted glass gives it a misty green colour, presenting a dew-kissed tone, and expressing the fresh delicateness of the fragrance.

Young model Kate King is once again chosen to interpret the soul of Dolce Floral Drops. With such profound eyes and aristocratic features, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana see her as the modern incarnation of Angelica-Claudia Cardinale in “The Leopard”.
