Let’s Learn
How To Eat Tsukemen. Sometimes we heard people said that Tsukemen are too salty,
perhaps they eat it in the wrong way. I was invited to try the Hakata Tsukemen
at IPPUDO @ Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The ramen chef from Japan were at the
restaurant to show us the correct way to enjoy a bowl of Tsukemen.
Hakata Tsukemen RM26 |
Hakata
Tsukemen RM26 is a special Japanese dipping style noodles which will be the new
seasonal ramen special served in IPPUDDO Malaysia from early July till end
September 2014 only.
The noodles
is equivalent to soba noodles, the noodles is served chilled separate from the
broth. You can taste the real springy and smooth texture plus the original fragrant
of the noodles.
The
dipping soup served hot with the combinations of IPPUDO signature pork broth and
bonito. The soup itself is very flavourful and salty. Please take note do not
pour the entire dipping soup into the noodle or do not drink the soup by itself
because it strong and salty.
The
correct way to eat Tsukemen is to dip some noodles into the soup and eat it. The
noodles is chilled and the soup is hot it’s a balance. I just dipped once then
eat it, if dipped a few times is bit salty for me.
After finished all the
noodles, you add hot water into the dipping soup and drink it slowly.
