Happy Wesak Day!
May the lights
triumph over darkness
On Wesak Day the Buddhist all
over the world celebrate the birth, enlightenment and death of the original
Buddha Shakyamuni all in one day. Sometimes informally called Buddha's Birthday,
it actually commemorates the birth, enlightenment (nirvana), and death
(Parinirvana) of Gautama Buddha in the Theravada or southern tradition. Wesak
Day is celebrated on the first full moon of the month of May so this year in
2014 is on May 13th.
Be kind to the people and things around us. We do not lose out or lose anything by being nice, polite and kind to others. I hope that we can live in a peaceful and harmony way. Sometimes I know that people do take advantage of us if we are a nice person. It ok we will be blessed in another way. What goes around comes around. Remember KARMA. Learn how to let go... let go our sadness, let go our past bitterness, let go our anger, let go our hatred and let go the revenge. Forgive and move on to because we only live once and we deserve a better and happier life.
May the lights lead you to the right path...
