Review: Samsung NX Mini NFC - No Internet? No Problem!

Oh no! Why there is no internet here? I need to transfer and share this picture out immediately. Hello! how many times we said this and stressed about this matter? Now, stress no more because there is a solution for you and me. As you know I am using the Samsung NX Mini camera, when it comes to sharing or transferring my pictures from camera to my smartphone or vice versa there is no hassle at all. Now you know why I said, No internet? No Problem! “mou man thai” and I will show you how NFC function.

We did it during the Samsung NX Mini Photo Marathon. We took lots of pictures then select, transferred to out smartphone and shared it on our social media platform on the spot. I love my camera because taking pictures of what’s happening around me in my daily life has become part of me. It’s my natural reaction when the food arrive the camera or smart phone will be out. My mom once teased me, she said “you have to feed you camera first then only yourself, huh”. We, bloggers take pictures of everything and anything hahaha… Just can’t live without our smartphone and camera. Plus we get excited when we took a good shot and want to share to the world on our social media platform or send it to our close group of friends and family.

I know sometimes is frustrating when I wanted to transfer the picture from my camera to my smartphone and there is no internet connection. There goes my mood. Anyway, with the new NX Mini that is equipped with NFC and Wifi features make life wonderful for people who love to share pictures on the spot and on the go. I can transfers picture to my smartphone, tablet or to my friends mobile devices on the spot without the requirement of internet. Not only that I can select one or a few pictures that I wanted to transfer and it’s done in a split second. There are a few ways you can transfer the photos using NFC Tag & Go.

Transfer Photos via Photo Beam

1. On your camera go to view photos, select the photos that you want to transfer.

2. On your smartphone make sure that the NFC is on.

3. Just place your smartphone on the camera and hold it there for 2 second to connect.

4. Done! the photos are all transferred to your smartphone.

Samsung Photo Beam lets you transfer photos with a just a quick touch. Simply tap your smart camera on any NFC compatible smartphone to automatically share the image you’re viewing. It’s that simple.

Transfer Pictures via MobileLink

1. View and select the photos on the camera and send it via MobileLink

2. On your smartphone make sure that the NFC is on

3. The smartphone will automatic connect to your camera and the photos will be transferred.

Select and send photos or albums directly to a smart device with Samsung MobileLink. And because the wireless connection is powered by NFC, you don’t need Wi-Fi. No texting or e-mailing necessary. Is so simple.

Transfer Pictures via Direct Link Auto Share

1. Press the DIRECT LINK button & There will be an ID appeared.

2. Launch the Samsung Smart Camera App for Auto Share on you smartphone or tablet and select the camera ID that appeared on the camera and connect your smartphone to the camera.

You are now on Auto Share, that means whenever you take pictures on your camera it will auto transfer to your smartphone or device that you paired with.

If you are an ios or non-Samsung mobile device user don’t worry you still can transfer the photos from Samsung NX Mini camera to your mobile devices. All you have to do is download the Samsung Smart Camera App to enable the NFC feature to function.

Overall, I find that the NFC feature on the Samsung NX Mini brings wonders to my life. Now, I can take excellent photos especially selfie on my camera and transferred it direct to my mobile and shares it on my Instagram, Facebook or Twitter or send it to my group chat, friends or family via WhatsApp. Never underestimate the power of NX Mini; even though it is small in size but it brings huge convenience and good photo quality.
