Maitres du Temps - A Journey Through Time VII @ Starhill Gallery

I was privileged to attend the Maitres du Temps Chapter One Transparence Launch during A Journey Through Time VII @ Starhill Gallery late last month. The launch event was held at the Concourse of Starhill Gallery and Shook Restaurant. We were the first few to take a glimpse of the newly launched world's luxury watches; Chapter One Round Transparence and Chapter One Tonneau Transparance.

The timepiece was launched by Founder of Maîtres du Temps, Mr. Steven Holtzman, and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Christophe Viguerie.

Maîtres du Temps originated in a determination to transform a dream into reality which is a dream of bringing together contemporary watchmaking’s greatest creative geniuses in unique collaborations.

The symbol chosen for Maîtres du Temps, its a tree with innumerable branches. That reflects the fertile nature of the brand's creative process. The image of the tree represents the evolution of Maîtres du Temps through the passage of time, with each branch representing a new collaboration, a new meeting of hearts and minds, and bearing astonishing timepieces.

Chapter One Round Transparence by Maitres du Temps 

The first timepiece launched was Maitres du Temps Chapter One Round Transparence price at RM1.9 Million, made of red gold and crafted by three Award winning watchmakers. This is a limited edition luxury watch with only 11 pieces available worldwide. 

Chapter One Round Transparence comes with a transparent sapphire crystal dial. Laser-etched sapphire dial revealing a manual-wind mechanical movement with hand-beveled cut-out bridges and a precious metal finish chronograph bridge, one-minute tourbillon, mono-pusher chronograph, retrograde date indicator, retrograde GMT indicator, day of the week indication on roller, patented precise moon phase indication on roller.

The Chapter One Tonneau Transparence was the second timepiece launched that night, made of titanium and white gold. 

Chapter One Tonneau Transparence was specially made for Starhill Gallery and A Journey Through Time VII.

It was a luxury night exquisite dinner with wine pairing and music with eyes feasting on the two newly launched luxury watches from Maîtres du Temps The Chapter One Collection.
